Having seen this on a tv cookery programme i was curious to try it myself. I used it in the same way, just added it to cooked pasta with some herbs and it was delicious. But use sparingly, a little definitely goes a long way.

I bought this set and truffle oil ready for christmas. After reading up i have kept the butter in the freezer and use as needed. It brings a lovely flavour and fills the house with an almost garlic aroma.

This product is absolutely superb,there is a really good truffle flavour to this butter and it’s much nicer than the flavoured oils that you can buy in the supermarket. I watched ina garten’s show re using truffle butter with pasta, as an inexpensive tasty way to get some truffle action. I also loved them on my veggies.     Excellent, but seems to loose some taste after opening. Excellent, but seems to loose some taste after opening rather quickly, so i recommend using up fast after opening. It comes via special courier delivery to keep the butter cool, which is expensive.

    1. To preserve it longer term i freeze the blocks and hack pieces off as needed. The butter has a beautifully refined garlic-like flavour to it (for anyone who’s curious). It’s dispatched in ice packs so arrives cool and in perfect condition.

  10. There is no mistake that it is truffle butter, great quality generous with the truffle, it goes a long way. Good value for money and it arrives in a little cool box. I’ve tried other brands and i should have saved my money because the truffle was so weak.

    1. A nice topping for pasta but quite expensive. Never tried truffle butter before but it sounded quite exotic, in fact it smells very garlicky. It’s nice to tell my guests that i have used truffle butter but not totally sure i will buy it again.
